      UbiBot Cloud Platform / FAQ

      All UbiBot Cloud loggers connect to UbiBot's Big Data IoT Platform. Once the data is in this platform, you can do virtually anything with it !

      Each purchased device gets a free 200 Mb storage space in the UbiBot Cloud. This is sufficient for most users. Simply enable the Data Re-Wrap option and the oldest data will be overwritten continuously. This way you will always have the latest data at your fingertips, including Alarms.

      The data volumes refer to one device each. Take the free plan as an example. The free 200 MB of storage space and 1 GB of outgoing traffic applies to each device in your account. If you have multiple devices, each device has 200 MB of storage space and 1 GB of outgoing traffic. 200 MB of storage space is for life and 1 GB of outgoing traffic is billed monthly. However, any balance of outgoing traffic is not carried forward to the next month. For example, if you have only used 500 MB of outgoing traffic this month, the counter will still start at zero next month. For most users, the free plan is sufficient. If you use the loggers commercially and want to have long data retention and long look back, a paid account is an option.

      The Ubibot Platform offers multiple value-added services, giving you a convenient and flexible use experience. Note that voice call and SMS text fees depend on the network operator and region of your recipient number. Please see the full price list as CSV

      A maximimum of 20 alert rules can be added to each channel. (And that is a lot !)

      Alarm notifications via the UbiBot App, and via Email or HTTP are free of charge. The more Oldfashoned ways of notifications via third party networks are paid services. (Voice Call and SMS)

      Data forwarding  and AutoSync to Google Shetes are 1 credit per month per device.

      Threshold of 200 free alert emails per device per month is rotated monthly (If you own 10 devices, you would have 2000 free email sends per month). Overage costs 3 credits per thousand email alerts sent. The voice call and SMS text alerts might be blocked by the operator when alerts are sent in high frequency to the same phone number within a short period of time. This depends on specific operators and fees are charged accordingly.

      We offer 3 times free trial data forwarding services for new UbiBot device. Each trial is valid for 24 hours. Monthly fees will be charged if you would like to continue with this function. Click here to learn detailed configuration steps.

      The credits in your account can be used to pay for any UbiBot platform services, including monthly plan fees, chargeable alerts and outbound traffic renewal, etc. The credits can not be exchanged to cash or transferred to others. 1 credit equals to 1 USD.
