The Aviosys IP POWER ATS 9820 PRO-S is a professional 19-inch Automatic Transfer Switch and remote PDU. It provides network, server and industrial equipment with a single power inlet with access to two independent AC power sources.
Many servers, routers, switches, security systems and industrial devices have only one power inlet. They therefore cannot be connected directly to two independent power sources.
The ATS 9820 PRO-S solves this by combining two AC power inputs with eight IEC C13 outlets. Its internal Automatic Transfer Switch selects either the primary or secondary source and uses the selected source to supply all eight outlets.

The ATS 9820 PRO-S has eight IEC 60320 C13 outlets. Each outlet can be switched on, switched off or rebooted individually over the network. This allows unresponsive equipment to be restarted remotely without sending a technician to the site.
The integrated web server enables control through a web browser. The PDU also supports multiple protocols and control methods for integration with network management systems, automation platforms and custom software.
In addition to dual power inputs, the ATS 9820 PRO-S has two Ethernet ports. These ports can be connected to different networks, routers or VLANs. If one network connection is interrupted, remote management can remain available through the other connection.
The Auto Ping function checks whether a specified IP address remains reachable. If the target stops responding, the PDU can perform a predefined switching action automatically. This can be used to restart a router, modem, industrial computer or network camera without manual intervention.
The front-panel E-Ink display shows important status information, including the IP address, input voltage, outlet current and internal temperature. The individual outlets also have status LEDs and dedicated control buttons.
