The 6 mm diameter sensor is made of 316SS with internal mineral insulation. This material can withstand up to + 600 ° C and therefore this sensor can also measure up to + 600°C at the tip. This material is slightly bendable. You may slightly bend the 6 mm sensor part one time. Bending multiple times can damage the sensor. Never bend the sensor at the tip where the Pt100 element is located. No bending is preferred!
